Baccarat Crystal, founded under the reign of Louis XV of France and famous for its exclusive crystalware, celebrated in early March 2008 the inauguration of its newest prestigious project: the Russian flagship store in Moscow. The store is located in a beautiful 19th century building which is filled with a rich history. On behalf of Philippe Starck, one of the most well known designers of modern times and famous for his spectacular interior designs, Traxon lend Baccarat’s new house a sense of illusion. Key to the project is the preservation of its original chic elegance, used to evoke the image of the famous luxury brand. The atmospheric surrounding created by an interaction of rear projections and reflections on light and crystal is fortified by the installation of Traxon’s 16PXL Board RGB behind two of the historic main windows. A virtual fire made with video animation is projected along their surface with the help of the technical finesse of Traxon’s individually controllable 16PXL Board RGB. The outcome is a customized lighting solution for a place riddled with memories, brought into the right light giving it the required touch of modernity and daring.
