Serving as the main connecting hub in Tokyo 3.5 million people passing daily makes the Shinjuku Station the world’s busiest train station and an ideal spot for consumer advertising. Traxon was contracted by Subaru, one of Japan’s biggest automobile manufacturer and part of the Fuji Heavy Industries company, to create an animated advertisement displaying the logo and famous Subaru blue. The main challenge was to produce the authentic blue which people connect with the Subaru brand. To meet Subaru’s high standards Traxon used its innovative LED light source “16 PXL Board RGB”, gently curved and covered in a half mirror enabling an impressive result with a homogeneous appearance. Located at the busy west exit of Shinjuku Station the display perfectly represents the Subaru brand and Traxon’s cutting edge technology and knowledge.
