GSC is a Hedge Fund Firm located in a skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, overlooking Central Park. The designer's intent was to bring the park's environment indoors using an image of a forest imprinted on glass, which was back-lit with Liner XB fixtures at 3000K. This created an impression of sunlight coming through the trees. The energy efficient LED lighting system was interfaced with the building's dimming control system allowing management to operate the LED's via the existing system. The impressive result was a flat image coming to life with the use of cold white light; the ambiance in the office space was transformed completely.
