Traxon Technologies worked in collaboration with designers at Oslo Lysdesign AS and Hotell Contract Interiør AS in the creation of an innovative lighting installation for the Quality Alexandra Hotel in Molde, Norway. The challenge set was to design an iridescent space for the hotel's lounge and restaurant area creating a stylish night club atmosphere. To meet the requirements set by the client to draw special attention to particular spots within the lounge/restaurant area, Traxon came up with a diversified lighting solution. Traxon's 1PXL Strip RGB (12SMD) was installed behind the lounge's bar making it continuously change color whilst also reflecting the shadows of the lounge's beautiful chandeliers. The restaurant's traditional fireplace was highlighted by Traxon's Spot XB installed behind the shield of the fireplace creating an eye-catching fusion of traditional design with modern LED lighting. Together with Nano Liners XB implemented discreetly behind windows and curtains, the variety of Traxon products helps to seamlessly transform the hotel's restaurant and lounge into a beautiful ambient space.
